闵贡 / Min Gong (late Han)

闵贡 / Min Gong enters the wiki through Hanji 946 as the official who catches up with the fleeing imperial party near 小平津. After 张让 and 段珪 take 刘辩 / 弘农王 and Liu Xie, later 汉献帝, toward the Yellow River, Min Gong rebukes Zhang Rang and kills several eunuchs before Zhang Rang and the remaining party jump into the river.

Hanji 947 then makes Min Gong a named figure in the continued recovery scene after the 洛阳 palace disorder. The source says the Chenliu prince and Min Gong share a horse while following the fleeing young emperor.

His page is intentionally narrow. Min Gong matters here because he marks the physical vulnerability of the imperial party before 董卓 arrives: the emperor and prince are still being moved by fragile personal escort rather than by a secure court, which lets Dong Zhuo’s later “rescue” immediately become 护驾与挟持模糊性.
