Mingwei

Mingwei is one of the Xiaohongshu Hackathon Peak Competition contestants interviewed in 把7位黑客松选手请进播客｜冠军、怪才和48小时不眠的野心家. His team explored making anime-style large heads for future embodied AI or agents, including image, 3D asset, surface-texture, and ordering flows.

The source’s reusable point is that faces can act as emotional interfaces for AI bodies. Mingwei says the project became vivid when someone mounted a head on moving hardware and the crowd reacted strongly, suggesting that small physical motion plus a face can produce attention and perceived personality.
