Overture Supersonic Airliner

Overture is Boom Supersonic’s planned passenger airliner in Blake Scholl, Founder & CEO of Boom Supersonic. The source presents it as the commercial target behind Blake Scholl’s early spreadsheets, airline-customer conversations, [[XB1SupersonicDemonstrator|XB-1]] prototype work, and later engine strategy.

The product idea is tied to the All-Business-Class Supersonic Model. Scholl argues that a much shorter premium flight changes cabin requirements: passengers need less room to sleep, so the aircraft can fit more high-fare seats in a way that improves economics relative to Concorde-like assumptions.

Overture also becomes the place where engine strategy affects customer experience. Scholl says the [[RollsRoyce|Rolls-Royce]] break pushed Boom toward a custom engine path that later enabled Boomless Cruise and recovered range needed for an undisclosed passenger-cabin breakthrough. That claim is preserved as source perspective.
