Pete Stavros

Pete Stavros is the KKR figure at the center of A pro-worker experiment in private equity. The episode says his interest in worker ownership came partly from his father’s experience as a union road grader in Chicago, where workers and management fought over paid time, lunch breaks, and travel time.

At KKR, Pete treated private equity as a test environment for Private Equity Worker Ownership.
