青州兵 / Qingzhou Soldiers
Hanji 964 backfills the hostile stage before the Qingzhou Soldiers exist as a Cao-side corps. The 青州黄巾军 first appear as a hungry armed force attacking 兖州, killing 刘岱, and forcing 曹操 into costly fighting in which 鲍信 dies.
青州兵 / Qingzhou Soldiers enter the wiki through Hanji 968 as the elite military layer 曹操 forms after a large Yellow Turban surrender associated with 青州. The episode says Cao Cao does not only defeat or disperse the group; he selects the strongest fighters into a named corps while placing the wider dependent population into farming and supply work.
The source treats the Qingzhou Soldiers as a foundation of Cao Cao’s early military capacity. Their significance is inseparable from logistics: the same surrender produces fighting men, families, labor, and an agricultural base, connecting the soldiers to 屯田制 and 降众资源化 rather than to battlefield manpower alone.
This page is source-scoped. It records how Hanji 968 explains Cao Cao’s early rise; it does not yet narrate the Qingzhou Soldiers’ later campaign history.
