极庙 / Qin Ji Miao

极庙 is the ritual building discussed in Qinji 121. The episode says Qin Shi Huang had a palace completed south of the Wei River, first called Xin Gong and then renamed Ji Miao after his return to 咸阳 / Xianyang.

The name is read as significant: ji points toward the heavenly pivot or supreme celestial center, while miao marks the building as a ritual/sacrificial site. The host therefore infers that Ji Miao’s ritual object was probably 太一 / Taiyi, not simply the Qin ancestral line.
