丘力居 / Qiu Liju (late Han)

Hanji 938 introduces Qiu Liju as the Wuhuan leader whose forces align with 张纯 and 张举 after the failed Wuhuan cavalry mobilization. In this origin layer, the problem begins with auxiliary desertion and resentment before later sources show Liu Yu’s pacification.

丘力居 is the 乌桓 leader who appears in Hanji 942 as both a military threat and a political actor open to inducement. He is associated with the late-Han raids around 张纯 and helps turn 幽州 into a multi-front frontier crisis.

After 公孙瓒 defeats Zhang Chun at Shimen, Gongsun Zan pursues too deeply and is surrounded by Qiu Liju at Guanzi City for more than two hundred days. Later, 刘虞 changes the situation through envoys, incentives, and surrender signaling; Qiu Liju sends envoys to submit and the rebellion around him disperses.
