曲阿 / Qu’a (late Han) enters the wiki through Hanji 983 as the place 孙策 reaches after 袁术 sends him to recruit through 吴景 and 孙贲. The source says Wu Jing helps Sun Ce recruit several hundred 丹阳郡 soldiers there.

The same episode later uses Qu’a as 刘繇’s southern refuge point. Liu Yao initially receives Wu Jing and Sun Ben there, then expels them when he fears Yuan Shu and Sun Ce will absorb him. Later sources mention Sun Ce pressing Liu Yao around Qu’a; this page anchors that geography for the Jiangdong branch.
