曲逆 / Quni County

曲逆 / Quni County enters the wiki through Hanji 178 part 2 as the city 刘邦 passes after escaping the 白登之围. The episode says Liu Bang is struck by how orderly and populous the place remains after the Qin-Han wars, comparing it favorably with 洛阳 / 洛邑.

Its main function is reward geography. Liu Bang makes 陈平 marquis of Quni and grants him the county households as his fief, turning Chen Ping’s repeated crisis service into a visible territorial honor.

Hanji 182 part 2 returns Quni as a rebellion-suppression battlefield. 侯昶 retreats toward Quni after the rebel force splits, and 灌婴 defeats and kills him there. The place therefore shifts from post-Baideng reward geography into a node in the 陈豨之乱 cleanup.
