Redbooth

Redbooth is the project-management company that merged with AeroFS around 2017 in Yuri Sagalov on AeroFS, YC, Angel Investing, and Wayfinder Ventures. Yuri Sagalov says he became CEO of the combined company and that Redbooth continued as a profitable project-management business while AeroFS itself was wound down.

The source uses Redbooth less as a product case than as a founder-responsibility case. Sagalov says the merger was not forced by investors and that one reason to pursue it was protecting employees whose green-card processes could have been damaged by an abrupt shutdown.
