三川 / Sanchuan appears in 《资治通鉴·周纪》55丨 张仪痛失贵人秦惠王 as part of 张仪’s proposed opportunity for 秦国 after 秦惠文王 dies. Zhang Yi tells 秦武王 that if he is sent to 魏国, 齐国 will attack Wei because it hates him, giving Qin an opening to attack 韩国 and advance into Sanchuan.
