Hanji 930 presents Sun Xia as the final named leader in this Nanyang Yellow Turban campaign sequence. After 秦颉 kills 韩忠, the remaining troops choose Sun Xia and again hold the city.

朱儁 immediately attacks. 孙坚, serving as Zhu Jun’s left-army sima, is first to climb the wall, and Zhu Jun then pursues Sun Xia to Xi’e County’s Jing Mountain, killing more than 10,000 more Yellow Turbans. The source treats this as the collapse of the local Yellow Turban force.
