田假 / Tian Jia
田假 / Tian Jia enters the wiki through Qinji 130-3 as the Qi king installed by 齐国 officials after 田儋 is killed by 章邯 near Linji. His accession is an emergency restoration choice inside the anti-Qin field.
The source does not present Tian Jia as a stable ruler. 田荣 returns to Qi, rejects the officials’ decision, and attacks him. Tian Jia flees to 楚国, while 田角 and 田间 end up in 赵国.
Tian Jia’s exile then becomes a coalition problem. When 项梁 asks Qi and Zhao to join against Zhang Han, Tian Rong demands that Chu kill Tian Jia first. Chu refuses to kill a refugee who has entrusted himself to it, and Qi therefore withholds troops. Tian Jia is thus less important as a successful ruler than as the personal legitimacy dispute that blocks anti-Qin coordination.
