王甫 / Wang Fu (late Han)

Hanji 915 supplies Wang Fu’s pre-destruction exposure. The episode places him beside 曹节 as a powerful eunuch whose family members and retainers occupy offices, while his adopted son 王吉 is accused of mass killing and corpse display as Pei chancellor.

The same source makes 杨彪’s report against Wang Fu’s Jingzhao retainers the evidence channel that lets 阳球 attack the network. Wang Fu is arrested with 段熲, Wang Ji, and 王萌, then beaten to death after prison interrogation and publicly labeled as a criminal minister.

Hanji 916 adds the public afterlife of Wang Fu’s destruction. During 于贵人’s funeral, 曹节 sees Wang Fu’s mutilated corpse abandoned by the roadside; the source treats that humiliation as the emotional and political trigger for Cao Jie to reunify the eunuch side and move against 阳球.

Hanji 917 gives Wang Fu a fuller pre-Hanji-918 role. 阳球 has already destroyed Wang Fu and his household or political circle; the source uses that success as the reason Yang thinks he can continue against 曹节 and 朱瑀.

王甫 was a late-Han eunuch powerholder mentioned in Hanji 918 as part of the broader eunuch-network background around 曹节.

The episode uses Wang Fu mainly to situate Cao Jie’s power and the anti-eunuch hostility facing the court. His page is source-scoped until later ingests add a fuller Wang Fu branch.
