魏续 / Wei Xu (late Han)
魏续 / Wei Xu (late Han) enters the wiki through the Hanji 1018-1019 late-Han personnel branch as the figure 吕布 trusts more than 高顺. Hanji 1018 makes that trust allocation concrete: Lü Bu assigns Gao Shun’s troops to Wei Xu, then still depends on Gao Shun when a hard fight requires the “陷阵营” commander.
Hanji 1019 adds the later negative side: Wei Xu is the trusted subordinate who eventually joins the turn against Gao Shun. The page is deliberately narrow because the sources use Wei Xu to show how Lü Bu’s unstable judgment damages his own base.
Hanji 1025 makes that turn explicit. Wei Xu joins 侯成 and 宋宪 in capturing 陈宫 and 高顺 before surrendering troops to 曹操. The episode therefore validates the earlier personnel warning: the subordinate Lü Bu favored over Gao Shun becomes part of the internal break that destroys him.
