魏续 / Wei Xu (late Han) enters the wiki through the Hanji 1018-1019 late-Han personnel branch as the figure 吕布 trusts more than 高顺. Hanji 1018 makes that trust allocation concrete: Lü Bu assigns Gao Shun’s troops to Wei Xu, then still depends on Gao Shun when a hard fight requires the “陷阵营” commander.

Hanji 1019 adds the later negative side: Wei Xu is the trusted subordinate who eventually joins the turn against Gao Shun. The page is deliberately narrow because the sources use Wei Xu to show how Lü Bu’s unstable judgment damages his own base.
