吴景 / Wu Jing (late Han)
Hanji 982 adds Wu Jing’s maternal-family importance before the Hanji 983 appointment branch. As 吴夫人’s brother and part of 钱塘吴氏, Wu Jing is presented as the channel that later gives 孙策 four thousand 丹阳郡 soldiers.
Hanji 983 first places Wu Jing in 丹阳郡 through 袁术’s appointment strategy. Yuan Shu recommends Wu Jing as Danyang administrator and gives 孙贲 a military post, using the Sun-family network to reach a commandery valued for soldiers and supplies. When 孙策 later asks for 孙坚’s old troops, Yuan Shu sends him to recruit through Wu Jing and Sun Ben instead.
吴景 / Wu Jing (late Han) enters the wiki through Hanji 992 as 孙策’s maternal uncle and the immediate public reason Sun Ce gives 袁术 for leaving Yuan Shu’s platform. Wu Jing is attacking 横江 but cannot break through, so Sun Ce asks to help him and then recruit soldiers in his home region.
The source makes Wu Jing’s problem a launch channel rather than only a family detail. Helping Wu Jing gives Sun Ce a legitimate mission, while success at Hengjiang becomes the first crossing-point opening for the later Jiangdong base.
