武松 / Wu Song
In 番外 15:半拿铁讲《金瓶梅》啦,而且还是绿色的, 武松 enters 《金瓶梅》 through the familiar 《水浒传》 tiger-slaying episode. After killing the Jingyang Ridge tiger, he gives the county reward to punished hunters and is appointed 清河县都头, making him a public hero with official status rather than only a strong man.
The episode then shifts him into domestic pressure. He recognizes 武大郎, meets 潘金莲, accepts the invitation to live with his brother, and tries to protect the household’s face and safety. His rejection of Pan Jinlian’s snow-day test and his later warning before a Tokyo errand make him a counterweight to 西门庆: public force and household discipline versus informal local power and desire.
