下邑 / Xiayi

下邑 / Xiayi first appears in the Liu Bang branch through Qinji 130-1, where 刘邦 captures Xiayi during the unsettled period after joining 景居 / 景驹 and fighting under pressure from 章邯.

Hanji 152 part 2 brings Xiayi back as a post-Pengcheng Battle recovery point. After Liu Bang escapes 项羽’s pursuit, he reaches 吕泽 at Xiayi and begins summoning scattered soldiers there.

Hanji 153 makes Xiayi the planning site for 下邑画策. Liu Bang has not yet rebuilt a stable coalition, but at Xiayi he asks how to attack Chu again and accepts 张良’s design for using 英布, 彭越, and 韩信.

The page keeps Xiayi’s role practical: it is not yet a fully developed regional center in the wiki, but it marks two moments when Liu Bang’s line uses local gains or local troops to recover from pressure.
