辛曾 / Xin Zeng (late Han)

辛曾 / Xin Zeng enters the wiki through Hanji 929 as a Liangzhou official assigned with 盖勋 to resist rebel pressure around Ahyang. When 左昌 is later besieged at Ji County, Xin Zeng does not want to rescue the superior who had tried to use them.

Gai Xun forces the issue by invoking 司马穰苴’s punishment of delayed military service. In the episode, Xin Zeng’s hesitation becomes the foil for Gai Xun’s insistence that command duty cannot be suspended because the endangered superior is personally hateful.
