杨喜 / Yang Xi (Han)

杨喜 / Yang Xi (Han) enters the wiki through Hanji 168 part 2 as a Han-side cavalryman in the pursuit of 项羽 after 垓下之战. During the 东城 breakout, Yang Xi pursues Xiang Yu but is frightened back several li when Xiang Yu glares and shouts at him.

The episode later includes Yang Xi among the Han men whose seized portions of Xiang Yu’s body are assembled to confirm the death and earn reward. His page therefore records both sides of the source’s final image: even a pursuer can be terrified by Xiang Yu’s personal force, but that force no longer prevents the reward politics around his corpse.
