邺城 / Ye enters the wiki through 《资治通鉴·周纪》96丨毛遂自荐（2） as the place where 晋鄙’s 魏国 rescue army stops during the 邯郸 crisis. 魏安釐王 initially sends Jin Bi with 100,000 troops to aid 赵国, but Qin’s threat causes him to halt the army at Ye and watch events.
In this source, Ye is not developed as a full urban or administrative history. Its role is operational: it marks the gap between nominal rescue and effective relief. The army has moved, but it has not reached Zhao, so Ye becomes the visible location of coalition self-preservation failure and transit-dependent rescue.
