应劭 / Ying Shao (Late Han)
Hanji 971 introduces Ying Shao as the Taishan official whom 曹操 orders to receive and escort 曹嵩 from Langya toward 兖州. His role is procedural but consequential: he is responsible for the official reception channel that fails before 曹嵩遇害.
After the killing, Ying Shao flees because he cannot answer to Cao Cao. The episode therefore uses him as a marker of command responsibility in a fractured late-Han landscape: even when an escort order is formally issued, route security, local force, and accountability can collapse.
