雍丘 / Yongqiu (Late Han)

雍丘 / Yongqiu (Late Han) enters the wiki through Hanji 996 as the fortified place where 张超 is trapped by 曹操. Zhang Chao expects 臧洪 to rescue him because of their old superior-subordinate bond, but Zang Hong cannot move 袁绍 to send troops.

The fall of Yongqiu is the trigger for the later 东郡 rebellion branch. Once Cao Cao captures the city and Zhang Chao’s family is destroyed, Zang Hong treats Yuan Shao’s refusal as an unforgivable failure of old-friend and old-superior obligation.
