幽州 / Youzhou (Late Han) enters the wiki through Hanji 998 as the northern region 公孙瓒 controls after killing 刘虞. The episode’s main Youzhou pattern is that conquest without people-support becomes hard to hold.

Once 鲜于辅, 阎柔, 乌桓, 鲜卑, 刘和, and 袁绍-aligned forces attack, several Youzhou commandery-level actors kill Gongsun Zan’s officials and join the coalition. Youzhou therefore appears as a regional legitimacy and defection field, not only as Gongsun Zan’s territory.
