袁胤 / Yuan Yin is the Yuan Shu kinsman whose flight with remnants, household dependents, and seals turns 袁术’s collapse into a logistical burden for 刘勋.

Current Profile

The current sources use Yuan Yin less as an independent actor than as a pressure carrier after Yuan Shu’s defeat and death. Hanji 1033 supplies the immediate route: fearing 曹操, Yuan Yin leaves 寿春 with Yuan Shu’s seals, family, and troops and goes to Liu Xun at Lujiang. Hanji 1037 interprets the same arrival as food pressure: Yuan Yin’s remnant group adds mouths and soldiers to Liu Xun’s already strained base before the Shangliao lure.
