The current source uses Yuan Yin less as an independent actor than as a pressure carrier after 袁术’s collapse. By bringing Yuan Shu’s remnants, wives, children, and dependents to Liu Xun, he turns political refuge into a logistical problem that helps explain Liu Xun’s later urgency for grain.
