于禁 / Yu Jin is a Cao-side commander whose current profile joins battlefield recovery after Wancheng with strict enforcement against the repeatedly rebellious 昌豨.

After 曹操 escapes Wancheng, Yu Jin defeats 张绣’s continued pursuit, keeps his own troops controlled, suppresses plundering by Qingzhou soldiers, and builds defenses before answering their accusations. Cao Cao rewards him as Yishou tinghou because he protects operational order and civilians while trusting that evidence can clear his name.

Hanji 1076 adds a second kind of rule-bound conduct. When Chang Xi surrenders only after encirclement, other officers favor sending him to Cao Cao. Yu Jin instead invokes the stated non-pardon rule, rejects friendship as grounds for exception, bids farewell to Chang Xi, and executes him.
