张范 / Zhang Fan (late Han)
张范 / Zhang Fan enters the wiki through Hanji 1001 as the recluse Yuan Shu tries to recruit while preparing an imperial claim. Zhang Fan does not personally accept service under 袁术, and instead sends his younger brother 张承 to meet him.
The source does not build a full biography for Zhang Fan. His function is political: refusal to appear keeps a respected scholar from validating Yuan Shu’s title project, while Zhang Cheng’s later answer makes the family’s stance explicit. In that sense, Zhang Fan belongs to the source’s 安全第一政治生存 and 名器合法性 field: accepting proximity to an unsupported claimant can itself become endorsement.
