张济 / Zhang Ji (late Han)
Hanji 1010 adds the immediate death scene and political aftermath. Zhang Ji leads troops from Guanzhong into 荆州 and attacks 穰城 in 南阳郡, trying to gain a base. He dies during the fighting, and 刘表 uses the aftermath to absorb the remaining soldiers by mourning Zhang Ji rather than celebrating his death.
张济 / Zhang Ji (late Han) enters the wiki through Hanji 1012 as 张绣’s uncle and the deceased husband of 邹氏. The episode says his army faced a food shortage, he attacked 穰城, and he was shot dead during the fighting.
His death matters because it transfers both troops and family responsibility to Zhang Xiu. Zhang Xiu takes over Zhang Ji’s soldiers and later aligns with 刘表, while Lady Zou remains the respected aunt whose seizure by 曹操 makes Zhang Xiu’s new surrender feel humiliating rather than secure.
