张闿 / Zhang Kai (assassin)
张闿 / Zhang Kai enters the wiki through Hanji 1019 as the assassin 袁术 sends against 刘宠 and 骆俊. The episode says Zhang Kai pretends to surrender to 陈国, then uses the access created by that posture to kill both leaders.
The source also notes that Zhang Kai is the same figure associated with the earlier killing of 曹操’s father Cao Song, but it does not develop that episode here. His role in Hanji 1019 is narrower: he is the operational mechanism through which Yuan Shu turns a failed grain demand into leadership removal.
Hanji 971 backfills that earlier Cao Song branch. In the 《后汉书》 version presented by this source, Zhang Kai is 陶谦’s subordinate at Yinping who escorts 曹嵩, sees the convoy wealth, and kills Cao Song and 曹德 for loot near the Hua/Fei route. The source keeps this as a competing attribution against 《三国志》’s Tao Qian-sent-cavalry version.
