Hanji 923 backfills Zhang Liang at the outbreak moment. After 唐周 exposes the plan and 张角 launches early, the episode says Zhang Liang takes the title 人公将军, alongside Zhang Jiao as 天公将军 and 张宝 as 地公将军.
张梁 / Zhang Liang (Yellow Turban) enters the wiki through Hanji 929 as 张角’s younger brother and one of the late-184 黄巾军 leaders. At Guangzong, 皇甫嵩 first fails to defeat him directly, then closes camp, watches Zhang Liang’s side relax, and launches a dawn attack after the Yellow Turban camp discipline loosens.
The episode presents Zhang Liang’s death as one of the decisive steps in the collapse of the main Yellow Turban force. He is beheaded in the battle, after which Huangfu Song turns to 张宝 at Quyang.
