张熙 / Zhang Xi
张熙 / Zhang Xi is the courier and student of 曾静 whose letter to 岳钟琪 opens the case in 11.雍正王朝之大义觉迷:史景迁笔下的千古奇案. The episode begins with him waiting near Xi’an’s drum tower and handing Yue a letter that attacked Qing rule, criticized 雍正, and invoked Yue’s claimed descent from Yue Fei.
The source emphasizes how fragile and theatrical the early investigation was. Zhang Xi first used an alias and refused to name his teacher under torture; Yue then used a staged intimacy and false oath to elicit more information. Zhang Xi therefore becomes both a minor actor and the hinge through which anti-Qing text, official fear, and 密折政治情报 / Secret Memorial Political Intelligence reached the emperor.
