张永德 / Zhang Yongde
Zhang Yongde / 张永德 is a powerful 后周 general in 169.宋太祖之死:烛影斧声,阴谋论中的人性谜团(上). The episode presents him as 郭威’s son-in-law, a senior military figure above 赵匡胤 for part of the story, and one of the figures 柴荣 had to balance.
His main narrative role is the “点检做天子” incident. Because Zhang Yongde held the 点检 office when the prophecy-like message appeared, the rumor threatened him directly; Chai Rong removed him and put Zhao Kuangyin in the position instead. The hosts leave the author of the maneuver unresolved, making Zhang Yongde a case in how rumor can change military appointment outcomes.
