赵德昭 / Zhao Dezhao

Zhao Dezhao / 赵德昭 is [[ZhaoKuangyin|赵匡胤 / 宋太祖]]’s son and a key alternative heir in 170.宋太祖之死：烛影斧声，阴谋论中的人性谜团（下）. The episode presents him as politically dangerous to [[ZhaoGuangyi|赵光义 / 宋太宗]] because Taizong’s legitimacy depended on explaining why the throne bypassed Taizu’s sons.

His crisis comes after Taizong’s failed northern campaign.
