Hanji 930 presents Zhao Hong as the Yellow Turban leader elected after 张曼成 is killed. Under Zhao Hong, the remnant force grows again to more than 100,000 people and holds out against 朱儁, 许秋, and other Han forces from June through August.
Zhao Hong’s death under Zhu Jun does not immediately end the campaign. The surviving Yellow Turban force turns to 韩忠, showing the source’s larger pattern: leadership decapitation weakens the rebel side only when command succession and morale are also broken.
