朱家 / Zhu Jia enters the wiki through Hanji 170 part 1 as the Lu-region figure who shelters 季布 after 刘邦 orders Ji Bu’s arrest. The episode says Zhu Jia recognizes Ji Bu even after Ji Bu shaves his head, wears chains, and is sold as a slave.
Zhu Jia’s main role is persuasion. He approaches 夏侯婴 in 洛阳 / 洛邑 and argues that former 项羽 officers were fulfilling duty when they fought for their lord. If Liu Bang kills a talented defeated officer over personal resentment, he will look narrow-minded and may drive such people toward 匈奴 or 南越.
After Ji Bu is pardoned and appointed, Zhu Jia no longer meets him. The episode uses that withdrawal to keep Zhu Jia’s action from looking like client-building; he acts as a rescuer and advocate for 旧敌忠义重释, not as a broker seeking repayment.
