浊泽之战 / Battle of Zhuoze
浊泽之战 / Battle of Zhuoze appears in 《资治通鉴·周纪》10丨 以家族单位 有蚂蚁吃大象的精神(3) as the battle where 韩国 and 赵国 defeat 魏国 during Wei’s succession crisis.
The battle’s importance in the source is not only military. The victory leads to the siege of 安邑, but Han and Zhao then fail to agree on whether to partition Wei or install 公中缓 under territorial concessions. That makes Zhuoze the turning point from battlefield success to Coalition Settlement Failure / 联军战后安排失败.
Key Claims
