宗正 / Zongzheng Office
宗正 / Zongzheng Office enters the wiki through Hanji 178 part 2 as the office set up to manage the imperial Liu clan after 刘邦 moves into 未央宫. The episode says the office began under Qin and was one of the Qin-Han nine ministers.
Its importance here is institutional. Early Western Han has been expanding Liu-family titles through 同姓王分封, but the clan also requires central administration. Zongzheng therefore marks the point where kinship becomes part of state bureaucracy rather than only household relation.
