左丰 / Zuo Feng (late Han)

左丰 / Zuo Feng enters the wiki through Hanji 928 as the small yellow gate sent by 汉灵帝 to inspect 卢植’s camp during the 184 CE campaign against 张角.

The source makes Zuo Feng important less as a full biography than as an access channel. Lu Zhi’s subordinates suggest giving him a gift because his report will reach the emperor; Lu Zhi refuses, and Zuo Feng later says Guangzong is easy to take while Lu Zhi keeps the army resting. Emperor Ling believes the report and recalls Lu Zhi in a prison cart, after which 董卓 is sent to replace him.

This page is source-scoped to the Lu Zhi removal branch. Zuo Feng’s role is a compact example of 巡查送礼关口 and 宫廷接触垄断: a court-side inspector can convert front-line military facts into a palace interpretation that changes command.
